CALL FOR PROPOSALS

TO CONDUCT END LINE EVALUATION FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST
CHILDREN PROJECT IN BALAKA AND NTCHISI DISTRICTS

Save the Children International (SCI) is the world’s leading independent organization for children with core
programming areas in Maternal and Child Health; Education and Child Development; Child Protection and Child
Rights Governance; Food and Livelihoods Security; and Social Protection and Emergency Response.

With funding from the European Union, Save the Children International in partnership with CHINANSI Foundation
in Balaka and NOYD in Ntchisi, as well as with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare, the MHRC and
the NGO Coalition for Child Rights – is implementing a 3 year project on Strengthening Community Child Protection
Systems to fight Violence against Children in Balaka and Ntchisi districts.

Save the Children invites qualified individuals or consultancy firms with required technical competencies to submit
proposals to conduct an Endline Evaluation for the Violence Against Children (VAC) project in Ntchisi and Balaka
districts. The lead consultant is expected to have a proven track record in and solid knowledge of Child Protection
programming as well as skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies. Availability to meet the
agreed deadline is a MUST.

The technical and financial proposal should be in separate sealed envelopes and put into one envelope clearly
marked “Proposals To conduct a VAC Project End Line Evaluation” and submitted not later than Monday, 16th
January 2016 at or before 17:00 hours local time to Save the Children Country Office in Lilongwe addressed to:

NOTE:

  • Late submissions will not be accepted
  • Email submissions will not be accepted. Electronic copies of the proposals will be requested after the deadline
    and opening of proposals to aid the evaluation process.
  • Save the Children reserves the right to accept the lowest, highest or no proposal
  • Save the Children maintains a “Zero Tolerance’ policy towards fraudulent, dishonest, corruption and bribery practices. If you are approached by Save the Children staff or representative demanding or asking for any kick- back or willing to provide any privileged information in exchange of business favours, please call a toll free line on 52121. Corrective measures shall be taken according to the organisations’ policy and the supplier shall never be penalised or disadvantaged in any way.
